Celebrating 40 Years of "Gemellaggio"!

In 1984 the City of Fort Smith and Cisterna di Latina became "Sister Cities" to honor the sacrifices of General William O. Darby and WWII "Darby's Rangers". Please join the Fort Smith Museum of History at the exhibition opening that celebrates and honors forty years of friendship and the historical connections that have created a lasting legacy of "gemellaggio". Artifacts and gifts exchanged over the last forty years will be on display to tell the story of this cherished "twinning". The public is invited to meet the delegation from Cisterna at the exhibition opening to experience the story of 40 years of "Sister City" relationships.
